Measuring approx. 10\" fully extended ( Pic #3 ) is this very unusual vintage cork screw. Very ingenious mechanical function, whereas one single motion extracts the cork, for example by turning the top handle ( once adjusted ) it screws into and extracts by continuous turning. Spring like sections appears as iron or metal with the main body parts appearing to be brass, I can find no markings, no breaks or damage other than wear conducive to its age.
