This sale is for a very rare, all original vintage 1960\'s Mid Century Hermes model 3000 Cyrillic Typewriter.Made In SwitzerlandThis typewriter comes with the original steel case. (No Key) Typewriter Works great and can type in black or red color. The typewriter is in very nice well cared for condition and comes from a no smoking, no pet home.
Case Cover does have normal wear --There appear to be No sticky keys
The only flaw is noted in the photographs. The plastic carriage turning knob cover on the right side is broken into three pieces and needs to be re-glued together all the pieces are there, I just dare not touch it and prefer to leave it to an expert for repair. I have included a photo of the knob and the carriage return where the know belongs.
This typewriter is as nice as you will find.
Appears to have little use over the years. Found at a recent estate, this item was tucked in a cedar closet for many years, untouched.
The glare spots are from the lights reflection and NOT on the actual surface of the item (the actual color is great).
This is a very tough item to find, and is a must for any typewriter collector.
