Very Rare Vintage Maitland Smith Shagreen (sharkskin) and Brass Table Lamp:

This beautiful vintage {Maybe} Maitland Smith Shagreen, (sharkskin) and brass table lamp is in very good condition for its age. There is a date written on the bottom by the quality inspector I believe it reads 19/10/87. there is one split in the leather that I show in the pictures. The split is hardly noticeable. This shade comes with the lamp if you wish I don\'t know if it is original. I don\'t know if wiring was replaced but it looks in good shape with the on off wheel on the cord. The finial is also sharkskin. It is my guess that this is a Maitland Smith lamp comparing it to another that sold on WorthPoint on 10/29/2015 for $899 . This is a work of art in style, texture and form. It is 25 1/2 inches to the top of the finial and 9\" wide at base and 4\" wide at top of lamp. Shipping will include insurance and signature.
