This is the ULTIMATE vintage Westclox alarm clock. This is the mid to late 1930\'s, very convex dial and glass, La Salle 61-Q. The unique feature about this RARE clock, which makes it stand out from ALL of the rest, is the recessed alarm dial BEHIND the dial face in a cut away arc. If you look, all the other alarm clocks have an alarm setting hand on a small dial on the face. The convex face is shaped to conform to the glass, as is the alarm dial. This model was made from 1935 - 1938. Westclox produced an alarm clock called \"La Salle\" in the late 1880s. The \"Dura Case\" alarm clocks, in a series of 6, were made from 1931 - 1934.In 1954 Westclox made the cushion-shaped La Salle. To the best of my knowledge, NONE of these has this same unique feature of the alarm set dial. Not only that, but I have not seen another 61Q anywhere -not in any for-sale listing or private collection. All clock functions appear to work correctly. Clock is sold \"as is.\" Clock is about 4.75\" tall and 4\" wide. About 3\" deep at base. Case in good condition. There is a small area of heavy wear on back of case in the lower right but does not affect clock functions. Please feel free to ask any questions you like before purchasing.
