This vintage reel will be as much at home sitting on display, as it would be out on the water catching fish. The reel has been freshly spooled up with 6 pound Stren fishing line, and is ready to hit the water.It is in excellent working condition with a strong clicker, and a smooth drag. The handle operates smoothly, and It has a aluminum spool, a anti-reverse lever, and a intact bail spring. After a cast the bail is designed to hit a protruding stud to activate the closing mechanism allowing the line to be reeled back in. The inside of the reel is super clean with the recent service it has had. Overall, this a very well built American Made collectible reel. It actually looks significantly better with the eye, than it does in the pictures.This reel would compliment nicely any early time period spinning rod.
