ITEM DESCRIPTION:Very Unique Figural Centerpiece With Hand Blown Uranium Art Glass Bowl. The nicely detailed three-footed figural base has its original patina with subtle green and red highlights. The base has a bronze-like appearance but we are unsure as to what is its actual composition. The bowl has a green hue due to the uranium content which is contrasted with a beautiful wine colored rim. Uranium glass, often known as Vaseline glass, produces a glowing green color when exposed to ultraviolet light as shown in the photo we included. The pontil can be seen when the bowl is removed from the stand as shown in the pics. The bowl is secured on the stand with a nicely detailed finial. We have no information as to who might be the manufacturer. We think this piece was probably produced in the Victorian era or perhaps even in the art deco/nouveau period, but are uncertain about that.

DIMENSIONS: Measures 10 1/2 inches in height and the bowl measures 10 inches in diameter.

CONDITION: This piece appears to be in excellent condition with nochips, cracks, or other damage that would detract from the value of this piece.
