Description:

Very unusual One of a kind metal Sinclair Gasoline clock. I\'m unsure of the date of this one. I could not find anything remotelysimilar. Measures approx 18-1/2\" diameter. Housing is made of steel, shows paint wear and dirt and some rust patches. Needs to be cleaned and or restored. Inner part with numbers appears to be cast aluminum in good condition with paint wear. The three mounting screws are brand new. Inner circle is a thick plexi-type glass with the Sinclair HC Gasoline logo painted? on. There are tiny words at bottom \"Reg US pat Off\" and some tiny numbers. Electric clock has very worn wiring and will need to be rewired. The clock does run somewhat at listing time, but it will stop running eventually. Bulb sockets work (light bulbs not included as they break in shipping easily). Clock is in fair overall condition in need of cleaning and restoration. Possibly the only model of this type ever seen (none found on google at least). Most likely a one of a kind advertising piece for Sinclair. Maker is unknown. A friend bought this 30-40 years ago, somewhere in California, loved it a ton, and decided to pass it along.

Again, this needs to be rewired by a qualified electrician, and clock movement should be cleaned or serviced for optimal performance. We can not guaranteehow long the old electric motor would work.
