A large decorative liturgical manuscript quire of 4 leaves on vellum, written most likely in a French scriptorium around 1550.

Size of each leaf : ca. 21\" x 14.2\"(530 mm x 360 mm).

Condition: As shown in acceptable condition for such a heavily used church book on sturdy vellum with the customary evidence of storing or ageing: toning of the vellum, soiling or staining, fading, edge flaws, original flaws in the vellum, candle wax drops stains, marginalia, old repairs, etc. Most of the soiling could be removed by using a proper eraser. Each leaf weighs over 2 ounces, which means that the package with the Quire will weight well over 8 ounces and be fairly expensive to ship to a foreign destination.
