A Victorian 15ct gold & enamel mourning brooch. It measures 5cm x 4cm . The front is ornately decorated with engraved scrolls and patterned edges and is enamelled black. There is a central gold panel which measures 2.6cm x 1.9cm and contains brown plaited hair. The back is engraved \'E. A. died June 28th 1874. Aged 28 years\'
Not marked but tests as 15ct gold. Pin is not gold. \'c\' clasp fastener.
