Up for sale is a very nice antique invalid chair.
I\'m not an expert and I couldn\'t find a date but from the research I\'ve done I believe it\'s from around the Civil War era. Chair is in wonderful condition, solid and may be all original. I\'ve tried to show many photos and I\'ll be more than happy to answer questions or take additional photos. Fabric is thicker, not sure what it\'s made of but it is a bit pricky in places, there is also a nice but worn flowered tapestry covered foot rest. I believe the chair has a silk lining which is a bit delicate due to age. Chair lays pretty flat and has a lever on the right side that you raise to adjust the position in various slots. Everything works easily, no broken parts or wood that I could find and has wonderful little brass wheels. A very nice chair and a wonderful piece of history!
