Victorian Antique Wood Invalid Chair Wheelchair Civil War Era For Sale
Up for sale is a very nice antique invalid chair. I'm not an expert and I couldn't find a date but from the research I've done I believe it's from around the Civil War era. Chair is in wonderful condition, solid and may be all original. I've tried to show many photos and I'll be more than happy to answer questions or take additional photos. Fabric is thicker, not sure what it's made of but it is a bit pricky in places, there is also a nice but worn flowered tapestry covered foot rest. I believe the chair has a silk lining which is a bit delicate due to age. Chair lays pretty flat and has a lever on the right side that you raise to adjust the position in various slots. Everything works easily, no broken parts or wood that I could find and has wonderful little brass wheels. A very nice chair and a wonderful piece of history! Chair measures:about 49" tall and 26" across the arm rests. Smoke free! This is a very large chair and will take special freight to ship. I'm willing to do whatever I can to help but shipping preparations and all costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. Buyer is also able to pick item up free in Yellville Arkansas which is in the north central part of the state or we may be able to meet within about a 100-200 mileradiusfor an additional fee. Any questions please ask before offerding. Thanks for looking!
