Hobbs Brockunier RUBINA VERDE Jack-in-Pulpit Vase

We are pleased to offer this gorgeous Victorian era art glass Jack-in-Pulpit Vase in the RUBINA VERDE pattern manufactured by Hobbs & Brockunier circa 1880. It stands 8-1/2\" tall and measures 5-1/4\" wide. high vase. This is hand blown glass of the finest quality with a very distinguishable open pontil mark. The coloring is a pale green (verde) on the bottom shading to a lovely rose (rubina) at the top. The rosy coloring shows great \'fire\' when held to the light. This is a piece of art glass like we have never seen before.

This vase features a ruby red ruffled edge over a lighter cranberry color with a gorgeous opalescence on the throat of the vase. It is pictured on page 118 of the \"Standard Encyclopedia of Opalescent Glass 3rd edition\" by Bill Edwards and Mike Carwile. It is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. Just a rare and stunningly beautiful jack-in-the-pulpit vase that you are sure to want to add to your collection. And a wonderful addition to your Victorian cranberry or amberina glass collection.
