Ornate Antique Brass Student Lamp Cornucopia

Victorian Style Lamp

It is the Single Harvard Style with the most Intricate castings of all of the Student Lamps.

This Lamp pictured on pg. 107, in R. Millers Book Student Lamps of the Victorian Era

This lamp was been electrified prior to our acquiring the lamp and works very nicely.

Measures approximately 21\" tall by 12\" wide. Weighs approximately 13 pounds. Thick, solid quality brass.

The shade spider (brace) and burner/font is not orginal.

I placed a glass chimney on the lamp it is yours if you wish but it does not fit properly.

The brass adjuster allows the lighted lamp part to extend up and down allowing for a desired lighting preference.

We left the patina on this sweet lamp perhaps the new owner might wish to shine it or not.

The switch is located at the bottom of the post area below the bulb where also the cord comes out.

This lamp is very detailed in very good condition.

old glass and porcelain were not manufactured with the sophisticated technology that we have today,

therefore there may be glaze pops, black pin dots, and minor factory flaws.

Edge wear on gold is to be considered as normal and the usual.

Please remember also that glass from the American Brilliant Period is that, it is of the

late 1800\'s to early 1900\'s, and would show light signs of use as you would want to find, consistent with age.
