Holiday Sale, Price Reduced :-) Merry Christmas !!!You are offerding on a wonderful antique Victorian cameo brooch that features \"The Infant Samuel\" a child kneeling & praying and measures approx. 1 9/16\" x 1 5/8\", and weighs approx. 10.5 grams. I do the best to describe the figures on my cameos and have found the CameoTimes site to be most helpful. I have added a coin in one picture so you can gauge the size. The shell has visible internal lines and a shell layer separation (visible from the back - see pictures). There is also an old very fine line that extends from the upper left and down across the cheek that appears to be an old scratch or flaw done during carving. It is not a crack. The cameo is stable and secure in the setting with no movement. The pinback & clasp are in good working order. The setting is not hallmarked but tested to be 14k gold. I gently cleaned the item under water but will leave additional cleaning up tot the buyer.Pleaseask questions at least 24 hours before the sale ends. Payment duewithin 3 days of sale end.
