This Victorian mantle is made from a wheat colored silk velveteen, the front edges and center back are hand embroidered with a narrow chenille yarn it has dark spots here and there in the embrdoidery it looks like it might have had metallic embroidery outlining the design which came off. The silk lining has wear at the back of the neck and scattered other worn spots and a small spot, the velvet has a few spots as well and missing hooks and eyes down the front edge. It\'s a small size and measures 38 inches around the upper body, neck is 13 1/4 inches and it\'s 31 1/2 inches long donw the front edge.
