Victorian Guilloche Enameled Sterling Flower Poesy Pin Edwardian Watson & Newell:
$85.00
Sale! Here\'s a truly lovely \"poesy\" from the Edwardian era, late Victorian possibly. Without manufacturer marks, this is probably American made, in the style of Watson & Newell (the innovative Attleboro, Massachusetts artisans), between 1900 and 1910. It\'s only mark is the \"sterling\" stamped in its heavy body. A handsome still-liquid green ribbed guilloche band is punctuated by a rather French beribboned guilloche pearl, with \"pearl\" ends. The bar is a graduated 3/4\" tall at the central medal, 3 inches long overall, with a generous spiked curve to hold a bouquet, 3/4\" depth by 3/4\" so it\'ll hold a lacy posey of violets...or a Gerber daisy. Hard to find, definitely a conversation-starter, so get your story ready. Collectible, formal or fun, and versatile yet an investment. We ship domestically only, thanks. Someone you know deserves this!
