Beautifully embroidered suspender pieces date from the 1880\'s or earlier.Silk chenille cord is embroidered onto heavy silk satin in wonderful motifs of rose buds.There are initials at the pointed ends,These were cut from the original lengths into pieces that measure 22 inches long and 1 & 5/8ths in width.Backs are worn/shattered as shown.Fronts has slight wear to the silk satin and several darker patina marks.The embroidery is in near perfect condition with just a few stitches that have been lost.Sold as is.
