A very nice inlaid walnut tea caddy from the Victorian period, with a domed top, decorated with a double band of inlay at each end of the lid, inside two lids with knobs. The box has age related wear around the bottom edges and corners, one corner having a patch repair (see photo) also small amount of veneer loss around the hinges and a slight lifting of veneer on the lid, no key. Lovely grain and patina, displays very well.
