Very beautiful and unusual Victorian pickle Castor signed Meriden B & Company No.40. This measures 11\" tall to the top of the finial and is 6\" wide across the handles with the insert being 4 1/2\" tall with about a 3 1/2\" bottom diameter. This is a well constructed, substantial and heavy piece. I have no idea whether this is all original or a marriage but everything fits together very well and it\'s gorgeous. The heavy clear glass insert is floral etched.

Condition: The silver plating is gone and the metal is dark. It could certainly be re-plated. Nothing is bent, damaged or restored. The glass insert is excellent without damage.
