Made around 1890-1900 in England and perfect for your Victoriandecor, anapproximately7\" x 6\" x 2-1/4\" trinket box in lacquered blackpaper (papier) mache decorated with decoupaged and hand-painted yellow-centeredwhite daisies and other tiny white flowers, as well as a single butterfly. Theinterior of the box is painted in gold and orange. Overall condition isexcellent. As would be expected with a piece of this vintage, there are a fewscuffs and along the hinges--which are metal and in great shape--a little bitof wear.
