Offered for sale is a Cylinder Roll desk with Bookcase top circa1900. Made of solid oak this lovely desk offers three adjustable shelves in the top. An oak cylinder rolls back to reveal a slide out writing surface(perfect for a laptop) and fitted interior. Normally the desk areas are covered with felt or leather this one shows the oak~very pretty. Three drawers and a side storage compartment offer lots of storage. In great condition showing normal use ware for it age, I see not apologies, the glass and hardware are original with the exception of a couple of key escutcheons. It also has it original finish. The key is for opening the bookcase only. A wonderful piece of oak furniture, it is as useful and lovely today as it was over 100 years ago.
