This puffy heart charm is decorated with a cutelittle bird in flight....or is it taking a dust bath? The image of the bird is artfully engraved. My listing shows various viewsunder differentlighting conditions so that the details on the charm are as clear as possible. Anyreddish coloring is from the photo/light reflections off my shirt.No dents, pits, scratches or spots on this puffy heart on either side - clearimage of thelittle bird is on the front side - the \"Sterling\" mark is stamped more clearly at the end of the word than at the start, probably unevenly stamped in production. I\'ve included photos showing the details to give buyersaccurate views of both sides of the heart charm.Thephotos actually exaggerate the dark areas (splotchy-looking areas) more than they look in reality. No engraved names or initials on the back side.
These \"sweetheart\" charms were first popular in Victorian times and then the 1940\'s/50\'s periods - for gifts to sweethearts, friends, and family members. This little bird heart charm comes up once in a while for sale, and is always popular. The heartmeasuresslightly less than 5/8th inch, counting the securely attached loop holding the jump ring. This is the type of puffy heart that feels more solid than hollow when tapped on a table top - not the very light-weight and fragile ones. It issecurely sealed around the edges. .I\'ve included a lot of detail in this description because I want the buyer to be happy with it.
