Walnut sewing or work box in good condition with good patina, grain and colour. Tunbridge ware bands, cartouche and key escutcheon with good colour and no losses.

There are some minor knocks, scratches and drying lines please study photos to help judge condition for yourself.

Inside there is a lift out tray and compartment underneath for cottons or silks etc. (Replacement tray)

The hinges are sound as is the working lock and key.

Lovely looking work box that would display well very well and if cared for should last another 120 years.
