Late Victorian mahogany portable desk with brass escutcheon and inlay depicting clover leaves. Fitted inside with dark blue writing slope and 2 cut-glass inkwells with brass tops. There are 5 vintage quill pens inside and a vintage combined pencil and ink eraser.
I am selling lots of various antique boxes at the moment, please take a look.ConditionVery good antique condition. Some light wear to the exterior commensurate with age; one brass clover missing; small chip along the edge in the bottom left corner of the front; no key; part of the lock is missing so the upper part of the slope can\'t be secured; some wear inside; small crack to base; 1 inkwell has been repaired and has chips; the inkwell caps are tarnished.
