It is time to let go of our Villas at Simpson Bay Resort week 24 timeshare on the Dutch side of St. Maarten which we have enjoyed for ten years. Age and commitments just make it no longer feasible. We have traveled the world with it (through exchanging with Interval International and within Royal Resorts), visiting England, France, Italy, Mexico, most of the Caribbean Islands and more. We paid $24,500 for it; because of the hurricaine, it is now valued at $28,000. It is open and others we know says things are up and running very well as of March 3. But going back to St. Maarten (although wonderful) was never our intent and IMHO is not the best use of a timeshare. This offering is a top level timeshare, with top trading value around the world, similar in value to Marriott timeshares. We are asking $5,000 for it and are willing to negotiate to some degree.
