This is anexcellent playing 1968, early Elkhart Bach Stradivarius Model 304 Eb trumpet. (Serial # 46256) This little guy gets a lovely,warm tone, and is surprisingly easy to play.The model 304 isgreat for performing the classic Ebtrumpet solos of Haydn, Hummel and others. It has a small .401\" bore but itproducesthelovelyvintage Bach tonefrom its large 4-1/2\", one-piece, hand hammered bell. The mechanical condition of the instrument is excellent and there are no dents. The bottom sprung valves are Monel and the valve serial numbers each match the valve body. This horn has never been damaged, modified or repaired other thanvery minor dent removal. The original factory lacquer has been removed. The horn\'s finish is bare brass. Just wiping it off after use will keep it looking nice for months.How it looksin the photos is how it looks today and it hasn\'t been polished in several months. It comesin a 1980\'sBach case which is in good shape. No mouthpiece is included,however itaccepts any standard trumpet mouthpiece.
