As pictured you will receive a vintage circa 1960s Vincent Price Collection, Sears Roebuck, work of art entitled, \"Little Girl\" by H.G. Westlund. This oil textured lithograph is an interesting little piece of Sears Roebuck and mid-century art history.
In the early 1960s Sears contracted with Vincent Price to bring together a collection of art that would be made available to Sears customers. The collection came to an end in 1971 at which point there was an estimated 50,000 pieces sold from the works of over 2000 artists.
This particular piece entitled \"Little Girl\" wasoriginallypainted by a New Orleans based mid-century artist H.G. Westlund. It is framed in wood and is a rather large piece measuring approx. 28.75 x 24.75 including the frame. The \"painting\" is an oil textured lithograph on board that looks convincingly like an original oil painting due to the added texture andlacquer/varnish.
Good overall condition. Some small chips to the wood frame. Discoloration on the back of the litho board. Dust in crevices. Please see photos.
