This listing is for a Very Unusual HEART SHAPED Shell CAMEO set in 10K Yellow GOLD and hung on a 10K Gold chain/Necklace.

This Pendant is marked with the ESEMCO Makers mark (Esemco was established c1906 in Newark, NJ, and the name of the company changed to Shiman Industries c1971).

This item was recently purchased from an estate.

SPECIFICATIONS:

This is a USED/PRE-OWNED Item -See Below for Condition Report.

Material: 10K Gold, Shell cameo

Signed: The pendant is marked on the back of the bail with ESEMCO 10K.

The chain is marked 10K on the catch.

Dimensions: The pendant measures about 1 1/4\" tall from the very top of the bail to the bottom of the heart at the largest points.

This pendant is about 11/16\" wide at the largest points. (JUST the shell cameo is about 11/16\" or so tall).

The chain that this item hangs on measures about 15 1/4\" long measuring flat end to end, and this chain is about 1.6mm wide.

Gemstones: No gemstones -this item is detailed with a shell cameo.

Monograms: None

Weight: 6.2 grams total.

Condition:

The cameo has a few small feathers, stress lines/hairlines etc. as is commonly found on vintage cameos -see images.

There are no large chips to the carving that I can find, though there are a few small scratches/scuffs and minor imperfections etc.

The gold has no large dents/major scratches that I can find, though there are some small scratches/tiny dings, dimples, nicks, wear and imperfections on the gold in some areas -

The gold has some patina, tarnish and discoloration and could use a cleaning/touch up polish in some areas (if desired).
