VINTAGE 14K GOLD MASONIC SCOTTISH RITE 14th DEGREE YOD RING INSCRIBED DATED 1922:

For your consideration is a vintage Masonic 14th Degree Scottish Rite "Yod" ring, in solid 14k gold.This ring has provenance--it is beautiful hand-inscribed with the name of the prior owner (I presume) and the date of April 19, 1922.Also, the traditional Latin phrase "Virtus Junxit, mors non separabit" appears on the inside in raised lettering, which translates to "whom virtue unites, death will not separate." This may have also been worn as a wedding band by a Freemason--but I don\'t have any actual history on it.The Yod symbol is done in black enamel, which is somewhat worn (see photos) but is definitely still visible.This band is also hallmarked 14K, and it weighs 3.6 grams. It is a size 11 and is in "good" vintage condition, with some surface scratches commensurate with age and wear.
