This is a gorgeous compact from the early 1900s. There are no hallmarks so I found out anything I know after talking to sale houses. It\'s made out of solid 14k gold and weighs 136.4 penny weights or 212.3 grams. After research I believe this compact to be French hand not Russian. The compact consists of yellow, rose and green gold, the gems are emerald and diamond. A couple of emeralds are loose but everything is in nice condition. The case has a few minor scratches and one dent on the bottom right of the front, besides that it\'s in great condition. All the hinges and compartments open a closes very nice. The compact measures just under 3 3/4 inches tall and just over 2 3/4 inches wide. The width of the compact is 15mm and thicket depending on where you measure.
