Looks like whatever was used to secure her inside the box and went around the underarm and shoulder deteriorated and adhered itself to the clothes. Some white stuff on her pictured. The box is in overall good condition but the outer sleeve did have some mildew on it.

From my late aunt’s doll collection. Non smoking home.
