This is Arranbee’s lovely composition Nancy Lee doll from the 1940’s. Her paint has been slightly touched up and she has been given a new top quality auburn wig styled in a long pony tail and bangs with tiny braids sweeping up the sides and long curled tendrils framing her face. Her brown eyes are crazed but they don’t detract from her expression and they have all their upper lashes. She is well strung and holds many graceful poses.

I have dressed her in a lavender “festival” gown with blue and white ribbons, roses and braid - and the hem is trimmed with an organza ruffle. She wears a darling flowered garland headband tied with satin ribbon. Underneath are her white, lace trimmed organza panties and a long white petticoat with a double net ruffle around the bottom. On her feet are a pair of white “leather” vintage, lace tied, Mary Jane’s.
