Vintage 1890\'s Turkey Red & White Indiana Puzzle Antique Quilt ~AMAZING DESIGN!
This VIBRANT cotton 1890\'s turkey red and white Indiana puzzle quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with an eye catching, Escher-like design.
It measures 86\" X 94\" and is in excellent condition, with light surface dirt in a couple of places and no wear.
There is quilting around the piecework and in diamond designs in the background, all at 7-8 stitches to the inch. The back is white, the hand stitched binding is rolled over from the front, and the batting is thin. You can see cotton seed residue inside when you hold the quilt up to the light.The BEAUTIFUL RED and OUTSTANDING DESIGN make this vintage 19th century COLLECTOR\'S QUILT stand out!
