This is the hardcover book titled: Plant Analysis, Distemper Color, Bookcover Designing, Oil Cloth and Lineoleum Designing, Wallpaper Designing, The American Vignola, Color Harmony , I.C.S Reference Library Vol 8, published by the International Library of Technology, copyright dates for the separate chapters range from 1901 - 1905; 395 pages; 6 x 9\". The book has dark brown over lighter brown leather covers, gold gilt lettering on the spine and decorative endpapers. It is in very good minus condition. The covers have very light shelf wear, two of the corner tips are worn, and very light soil. Inside: Pages are clean and tight.
This gorgeous vintage book contains over 200 black & white and color illustrations, diagrams, foldouts and line drawings of beautiful Art Deco / Nouveau, Victorian and Arts & Crafts era architectural details and artistic designs. The author provides easy to understand detailed concise information on each subject addressed.

The images are inspirational, make excellent reference for the collector and a great inspiration for both novice and experienced designers and artists. Most of the plates are attached to the binding via paper tab which would make it very easy to remove them for framing.
