Vintage Art Deco Black & Gray Striped Velvet Fur Collar Trim Winter Coat

This vintage Art Deco black and gray striped velvet fur collar trim winter coat dates from 1920. It is made of a black and gray striped velvet fabric, with a black fur trimmed collar. This wonderful womens winter travel coat is a long full length, loose fitting, with long sleeves, rolled cuffs, a collar which can be work turned up or folded down, large velvet fabric covered buttons along the side for closure and is fully lined with a black cotton lining and side pocket. The coat measures 46 inches long, with a 38 inch bust, 38 inch waist, 22 inch long sleeves and 13 inch back. It is in good as-is condition, with some wear missing fur from the collar and a small frayed slit opening on the sides perhaps to accommodate a belt at one time? (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
