This is an antique 1920s Flossie (Flossy) Flirt doll by Ideal Toy Corp.
She is all original from head to toe, in her original dress, slip, romper, socks, shoes and even her original silk headband with flower
A pre-Depression era doll so reminiscent of the Art Deco flapper era, this doll measures about 24\" tall and has a composition head and legs, with flirty, tin sleep eyes, mohair wig, and old rubber arms which have started to deteriorate, which is common with these dolls, and have been tape-mended to help prevent further damage (some damage to tips of fingers as well -- see photos)
Her compo is in excellent original condition, with no crazing or cracking to the legs or head and only minor paint flakes on her face; no chips to toes and no missing hair, although it is slightly mussed from age but has the original metal barrettes intact
Her cloth body is nice and clean, with no stains, damage or odors, but the crier box inside her body does not cry anymore
Her clothing is free from spots, stains, and major damage, although the slip underneath her dress has a split at the top which can be easily mended
Flossie\'s eyes still \"flirt\" back and forth and open and close easily without assistance
