Vintage 1920s KA-BAR Union Cutlery Company swell center jack knife with linoleum patterned celluloid handles. The knife measures 5 3/8\" closed and is in excellent condition. The blade is stamped \"KA-BAR REG. U.S. PAT. OF-\" on the front and \"UNION CUT. CO. OLEAN, N.Y.\" on the back. The blade has a match striker pull and a very firm snap with no wiggle. The unique linoleum patterned celluloid handles are completely intact with shrinkage appropriate for the age of the knife. This is a premium coke bottle jack knife with nickel silver bolsters and pins and brass liners. We obtained this knife in Denver, Colorado in2001 as a trade with a WWII vet knife collector.
