This VINTAGE 1933 BUZZA MOTTO PRINT is titled simply: \"COMRADESHIP\" by Edgar Guest. The verse is definitely the star of the motto, featured front and center, against a gold background surrounded by a deco border of gold and reddish flowers and vines. There is also a picture of well dressed people greeting each other as they walk through town. The verse is quite simple, yet still relevant: <p> \"A glad hello and a hearty grip, Are the first beginnings of comradeship, And Father Time in his kindly way Binds us closer day by day. We grow from the smile and the kindly hand To know each other and understand, And I hope some day you will find in me, The faithful friend that I want to be\". <p> Measuring approx 10 3/4\" x 8 1/4\", the motto is in overall very good condition, no stains or missing spots. There is some very light waving in the parchment paper, typical with the age of the piece. The ornate gold and black wood frame is in great condition, no chips or breaks. The paper backing is attached, but does have tape along the edges (by the previous owner). With the the original CLOVERLEAF HANGER, stamped BUZZA, still attached, the piece is ready to hang on the wall. A hard to find Motto!. Please email with questions.
