Up for sale is a 1924 CROSLEYPUP ONE TUBE BATTERY SET RADIO W / ORIGINAL BOX, WIRE AND PAPERWORK. Thisradio is in extremely nice original condition. The metal cabinet shows veryminor signs of age and wear. It has a small dent on one front corner which issmaller than a pencil eraser. It is difficult to see, but it is there. Thisparticular pup has its bottom (which is frequently missing) and a nice paperidentification tag on it. It has some paint missing on its feet and on some ofthe bottom edges. The bakelite knobs are in excellent condition with no chips,cracks or breaks that I can see and they all turn and pull freely. The bakelitetube socket also has no chips, cracks or breaks and the chassis is very cleanand appears to be complete. Above the front knob on the cabinet in raisedletters it reads: CROSLEY PUP. Included with this is the correct WD12 brass basetipped tube. I cannot test the so offer on it as display only, but if you get itand is good, more power to you! You are buying the unit electronically AS IS asI cannot test it, either. This comes with its original cardboard box in AS FOUNDcondition. As you can see by the photos it is still legible, but faded, worn,etc... BUT at least you still have the box! Also included is wire and a ContestPamphlet which says you can win $1000.00, a pedigree puppy and a Crosley radioset. That, too, is in AS FOUND condition as it is wrinkled, discolored and twopanels have been taped on. The cabinet of the pup measures approx. 5" wide,4" tall and 4" deep excluding the knobs and top of the tube socket. Avery nice example of this radio and has the box to boot! Idon\'t claim to be an expert on these so PLEASE review the photos as theysupercede the description and you be the final judge upon its condition.
