Vintage 1929-33 Sheaffer Balance Pencil
- Measures 5 19/32\" long, oversize, missing cap top insert, black and pearl color, \"ball clip\", cap reads: PAT.- PAT. PENDING MADE IN U.S.A., clip reads: SHEAFFER\'S, middle joint cap twist mechanism propels 1.1 mm lead nicely, cap removes to reveal no eraser and tape has been added to inner barrel so it grips better, small gap between cap and barrel, usual plating wear on very top of clip ball, some plastic wear, two crazing lines, one near nose cone and one near cap top.
