Vintage Marx Toys (or Mar toys) Caterpillar tractor. This was my fathers as he was growing up, so I am pretty certain that it is from the late 1930\'s to early 1940\'s manufacture date. It has been in the family since day one. Tractor works great. Key winds up spring and tractor goes. There is a stop/start switch/lever to the right of the steering wheel that works. The rubber treads are original, not repaired or cracked. It is missing the driver, and the smokestack. I remember using this toy 40 years ago, and there is a little grinding wheel-flint-like device inside the smoke stack, that would emit small sparks that emulated a running tractor. I haven\'t run the tractor enough lately to see if it still works, but the little grinding wheel still turns when tractor runs. I do not know if any other accessories ever came with the tractor, such as dirt blades, etc. This tractor is in excellent condition for it\'s age. Email for questions.
