Description: This is an original trunk luggage rack with brackets for an unknown early to mid-30\'s carapplication. This luggage rack is in good used condition and appears to have all mounting brackets in-tact. The structural condition is good with no large dents, warped/twisted areas, or major rust damage. It is constructed of heavy gauge metal and will withstand a fair amount of weight. I believe this to be a factory piece and not an aftermarket piece, simply based on the build quality. The rack features stainless steel strips fastened to the top surface which are in good condition without any heavy scrapes or large dents. It appears that the paint could be original but it\'s hard to tell. I am unsure of what it was originally installed on but I do believe it is from 1932-35 era where trunks were commonly used on sedans or convertible applications. I purchased this to use for a custom project of mine that has since been sold. The rack measures 36\" side to side and 17\" front to back.Overall, this will make great replacement for your badly damaged or missing part. Do not miss out on this hard to find part for your classic car.
