\"I am always happy to combine shipping whenever safely possible to save you money!\"This ca. 1932 cast iron door stop known as \"Listen\" shows a delightful pair of Scottie dogs with pricked ears leaning towards a very interesting sound. The work is based on work by American artist Morgan Dennis (1892-1960), who titled it \"When Do We Eat?\" (I\'ve included a picture for reference of the etching for reference only, it is NOT included with the listing). The cast iron mold may have been a commission by Texaco, referencing the sound of smoothly running engines.Solid cast iron; weights 3 lbs, 10 oz prior to packaging.Measures approximately 9\" L by 3\" W by 5-3/4\" H
Condition as in photos and descriptions, this is the exact item you will receive. Some paint rubs add appealingly to vintage look. Bottom and under Scottie\'s chins is lightly applied white paint, may not show in photos.
