Vintage 1930's Western Saddle High Back Tapaderos Sterling Conchos Custom Wade For Sale
Fantastic Vintage High back Saddle made for a junior rider. Maker : SCHAFFFully tooled square skirted with taperaderos This Saddle was custom made for Ruthie Gursen of the Famous Calamigas Ranch in Malibu Ca. Back in the 1930's It has been stored in a tack room for many years and is waiting to give another junior rider the ride of there lives. This saddle is the classic Califorinia style of the early 20th century. Rawhide covered high back cantle and wide front swells. I think it had white strings. The taps are eagle beak 14 1/2"With new strings rigging and fleece this saddle will be ready to go. The leather is in good shape for a saddle of this age. The sheep skin is still intack with some rub marks still rideable.Add a piece of California history to your saddle collection with this great saddle.the tapaderos have sterling conchos on the stirrup bolts that are the Visalia style.
