Description

Shown here is a great, vintage sewing machine for the quilter. This is a "Singer Featherweight Model #221-1". It was found with its original case and assorted accessories along with the instruction booklet. The number on the bottom is "AE062677" which dates it to 1935. There is minor scratching on the deckand the gold detail is barely worn. It has its motor control unit/foot pedal but is brittle and cracked and would need to be rewired. We used a different pedal to test it and it does run and light works. There is a bobbin case underneath. The case is in good condition but the handle does show some wear, see photos. A great little machine for the sewer on the go! Thanks for looking.
