Up for sale is aspinning tinmetal top by OHIO ART CO. This top features PIRATES, designed by Fern Bisel Peat.

This is an early artist signed top. Many of the early pieces included the Artist\'s signature. Later items by Ohio Art don\'t have designer\'s signatures. The color litho isclean and bright for it\'s age.It does have wear from use and scratches and dings. The underside of the top has wear but still hasbright colors. The bottom tip of the top does show wear, but overall it isin great conditionfor its age. Some rust on bottom but not too bad. Wood handle is in good condition minus some paint wear.The top spins beautifully and is in working condition.

Measures about 5\" tall and 5\" wide.

Fern Peat was an important woman designer illustrating children books as well as toys. This would make a great display piece or addition to any collection.
