We are offering a vintage 1940\'s-1950\'s Navajo Indian Rug woven in a tight tapestry weave. Graphic modernist style design composed of brown/gray, chocolate brown, black, chartreuse and cream create an unusual storm pattern complete with water bugs and other elements. This striking rug will work with not only Traditional Southwest but Mid Century Modern as well. In good condition. Areas of breaks in selvage around the edges. Old repair about halfway up one side edge. No holes or moth damage, no bleed or fade. Both sides are equally bright and vibrant (see photos 1 & 9). Fairly clean, no foul odors or other issues. There are a few spots of light staining - would benefit from a good cleaning. Measures 57 1/2\" x 33\". Offered here for the first time out of an estate. Payment in full is expected within 48 hours of close of sale. Shipping cost includes insurance. No returns unless item is grossly misrepresented.
