You are looking at a vintage 1940\'s little wooden trinket or jewelry box with a small wooden devil figurine on top wearing a red dress and holding a red trident standing on small rocks. There is no mark or sticker but I am almost certain it is from Erzgebirge, East Germany.
It is in very good condition. No cracks. There is a tiny dent on bottom of lid of the box. Tiny bit of paint loss on the tip of one horn, tip of tail and mouth. The trident looks like the wood started splintering on one side but it is still stuck. Not sure if it is a repair. Needs a bit of extra cleaning around the small rocks where dust has collected. On one shoulder is no red paint, I guess during production they couldn\'t reach well enough underneath the tail, it is not damage.
Size: Approx. 2 1/2 inches tall, 2 1/4 inches by 1 1/2 inches wide.
Comes from smoke free home.
