Soprano Size! All KOA Wood Ukulele! Made In Hawaii!
This is really cool. You are looking at a Vintage 1940\'s Paul F Summers Ukulele. This is a Model \"Famous Waikiki\" Soprano Size Ukulele. Paul F. Summers was a Music Teacher in Honolulu Hawaii. He contracted out with high quality Ukulele Luthiers to build Ukulele\'s for his company. Sam Chang who was formally employed with the Kanaka Ukulele company, was the builder of many of the Summers Ukulele\'s. He is know for building the \"Famous Waikiki\" Ukulele\'s. These are made out of KOA wood and have the best tone and sound of nostalgic old Hawaii. The sound projection and sustain are truly off the chart!
Our Luthier repaired 2 cosmetic cracks just under the bridge and1 to the upper left of the soundhole. (See picture #11, #12). They were Cosmetic only. NOT Structural. Solid and Tight. This is no way interfered with the tone.
If you are into Ukulele\'s you already know that KOA Wood is the best sounding wood for a Uke. Built in Hawaii, USA this isa greatinvestmentfor both a player as well as a collector.
