Very large (5\' X 3\'), very rare and very outstanding 1940\'s porcelain Mobil Marine sign. No restoration, touch ups or clear coats. I have collected Marine and Outboard
signs for a good long time and this is the only example I have ever seen. I have seen two sister signs in collections but they were both \"Mobilgas\" (this one is Mobiloil) and in poor condition by comparison. The approximately 70 year oldsign is well pictured with good clear shots of the few chips and imperfections. You will not find a better example of this sign anywear much less at sale. I am reluctantly selling this sign from my modest collection because I am retiring and moving in early April. I just don\'t have a place for this big heavy sign. I would consider a trade towards the final offer price on rare (but smaller)Outboard or Marine signs.
