Vintage 1940s 30s white cotton long dress small covered buttons wide collar cap:

RARE FIND,excellent vintage condition,unlined. zipper closure at side. Appears to be in mint condition with a gathered cap sleeve with 4 covered buttons. Lovely spread collar. Bodice is lightly rouched. Immaculate row of buttons down to lightly V waist. Has been beautifully starched with no sign of wear. The cloth is sheer white floral pattern with a long flared skirt. A bit of detail in the front hem area and a V shaped insert. This was most likely an afternoon tea dress, dancing dress. Nowadays could even serve as an informal wedding dress; casual look with appropriate shoes or sandals, even boots. Reminiscent of Katharine Hepburn in one of her early films.
